Objective

The objective of this project is to select and revamp underperforming or fading brands. Research will be conducted to develop suitable graphic design systems for the brands. Ultimately, the aim is to create a brand guide for a new and improved brand identity.

Approach

In this rebranding project, I aimed to update the government brand to a more inclusive and modern identity. While keeping some elements of the original brand, I designed a new logo with a flexible and approachable feeling, using a trustworthy dark blue color. The main focus was on transitioning from a large project-focused brand to a supportive brand for small community-based groups of researchers.
